Blues Rock Musician Brief

For Drummer (Rhys Battle):
For these track I want to get a drum style that matches that of Patrick Carney of the Black Keys. I want the drums to fill out the gaps of the music and to work well and fall under the category of Blues Rock. A lot of the important drum parts I will write my self and navigate you on how I want them to be played however for a majority of the grooves and patterns it will remain very simplistic and I will expect you to be able to figure out what to play for those simple parts. The tracks will require numerous fills and you will be required to use more than just the Kick, Snare and Hi-hat. You will most probably have to use the as before mentioned and on top of that all three toms the crash and ride in order to achieve the tone I want. You will be serving more as a session musician rather than a creative partner however any opinions you have on tracks are wanted to be heard and all feedback/thoughts are welcomed.

For Bassist (Jaymie Porter):
As I understand your technical skill for your instrument of choice is not of highest standard all bass parts will be fairly simple and largely be written in pentatonic scales and wont stray too far from the guitar parts. I will write all your bass parts and assist you in learning and practicing these parts however I will expect these parts to be learnt and failure to do so will result in your termination from the project. Like the drummer you will be serving as a session musician and not a creative partner. The genre of the EP will be blues rock and it will be based around the sound of  the Black Keys and Jack White. In order for you to familiar your self with the genre I recommend listening to the previously mentioned artist.
